The law is not only about "cookies": it covers any information stored on your device or read back from it. That is why the table below also lists browser local storage, which is technically not a cookie and which you should not have to care about the name of.
The list is taken from this site’s own source code, one row for each thing that is actually written. It is not an example list.

Until you accept analytics this site loads nothing at all from Google: no script, and not a single request to their servers. The two Google cookies in the table never come into existence.
At the foot of any page there is a "Preferences" button. Open it and change whatever you like: withdrawing consent takes exactly as much effort as giving it, and when you withdraw it we delete the Google cookies from your device.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Note that if you block the necessary ones, parts of the site may stop behaving as you would expect — for example we will ask you about cookies on every page, because we will not be able to remember that you already answered.
If we add a new purpose or change what we store, we will update this table, raise the policy version and ask you again. Your earlier consent is never reused for something you did not read.
